I've finally decided to put all areas of my art together into one website. Everything is in distinct sections:
Nature and maps
Eastern and martial arts art
Photography postcards
...and much more!
I've been an artist, or have enjoyed all elements of creativity, for as long as I can remember. You can find and book all the information for the paint and relax afternoons and evenings, see art for sale both art and orignals, or you can support me each month and receive a monthly gift related to where you have decided to support me.

I've tried my hand at many different styles and forms of art. To the left were a couple of 'studies' and attempts at realism. For a first go I was very satisfied with the result - I've never wanted to draw realism because that's what photographs are for, so I've never personally seen the point but I wanted to try it just to see if I could.
Above is a more recent Chinese themed crane and snake, drawn in graphic pen - now one of my favourite ways of creating art. I often mix coloured pencil with it or do separate coloured pencil drawings as well. As a tai chi instructor, I tend to study Chinese philosophy and culture and I'm very interested in their perspective, the way they look at life and they way they treat one another in all walks of life. This is why I've decided to specialise in this style.

I've made some of my own journal type art books and have started sketching, and experimenting again with line and colour, to perfect my curves and shading.
I'm looking forward to continuing the journey, but now also including you! I want to experiment even more with subject and colour. I love intertwining designs like my snake and crane above and want to make more of these. I like the idea of using celtic design ideas, and putting that into my Eastern pieces. I like flow (because in China everything has continuous music) and so I aim to build a fluidity into my art so that it might always be moving.
Please see the specific pages for more information on the subjects and visit the online shop.
I'm always open to commissions and have done many in the past - so do get in touch via the contact at the bottom of every page if you'd like some custom art, or if you are interested in the paint party (I call them paint and relax) as an individual or as a group that would like a private event.
Thanks for visiting me
